The start of the adventure: dolphins and lemurs
The adventure begins just 25 minutes from Les Ecureuils campsite. Head for somewhere else... where the distant roar and the splendour of nature invite you to experience a day out of time.
From 10am - or even 9.30am on certain days - the doors of Planète Sauvage open (€28/adult; €22/child). Let yourself be transported into a new world, that of the animal kingdom and the mysteries of the jungle.
💡"The Sisters invite themselves to Planète Sauvage"! From 1 June to 14 July, you'll have the chance to take part in a life-size educational adventure. At reception, you'll be given a booklet and then it's up to you to play!
Start by discovering the Chemin de la Brousse, an immersive 45-minute loop.
The island of lemurs offers you a mischievous welcome. You'll be immersed in typical animals: maki catta, meerkat or royal crane, this walk will take you all the way to Madagascar.
But be careful! Don't lose track of time! A presentation of the dolphins awaits you at the Cité Marine at 11.30 am. An aquatic ballet as moving as it is majestic will be performed before your astonished eyes. With grace, complicity and splendour, you'll be captivated by an orchestra created especially for you by the dolphins.
A well-deserved lunch break
With your stomach full and your eyes already full of stars, it's time to recharge your batteries. For the more organised, there's a picnic area within walking distance at the entrance to the park, near the Pirogue restaurant. For those who prefer to travel light, there are several choices for your taste buds: a self-service restaurant at La Pirogue, a fast-food outlet at Tiptoe or a restaurant at Savane Express. It's up to you to choose what suits you... or your appetite!
Life-size safari
At 1.15pm, the call of the savannah is heard... Climb aboard the 4×4 raid and set off on a two-hour expedition to the heart of a real safari.
💡The times of the raid are to be determined according to your wishes at the time of booking (additional ticket of €15 per person), it can be done in the morning or later in the afternoon. Some adventurers even opt for a self-drive safari... as long as they respect the rules listed on the Planète Sauvage website.
Giraffe, hippopotamus, llamas, wolves, elephants, zebras... they all pass before your eyes. Each turn of the wheel brings you a little closer to the wilderness: a suspended, precious moment.
The last thrill and wild memories
Back in the park, take up your exploration where you left off: at the Jungle Temple, immerse yourself for 45 minutes in a lush setting. Suspension bridges, intertwined lianas and secret observatories create an atmosphere worthy of the greatest tropical forests.
When your legs start to get tired and you feel the call for something sweet, stop off at the Temple of the Jungle kiosk. Cold drinks, ice creams and sweet snacks await you. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries.
But the adventure isn't over yet... For the finale, let yourself be impressed by the masters of the land: majestic lions, stealthy cheetahs and Malayan tigers. Don't miss these imposing figures, with their piercing eyes and cunning movements. An unforgettable last face-to-face encounter.
Then slowly let yourself be guided towards the exit. If the park closes at 7pm, treat yourself to a final diversions to your favourite enclosure, to capture the moment forever.
On the way home, you might think back to that moment of complicity with a lemur, or to the children's amazed laughter at the dolphins. One thing's for sure... you won't forget this Safari day.
